Lao Coffee from the Bolaven Plateau is one of the key regions for coffee cultivation in Laos. This plateau is located in the southern part of the country, in Champasak Province, and sits at an elevation of approximately 1,000 to 1,350 meters above sea level. The area enjoys a cool climate and ample rainfall, making it an ideal location for coffee farming.

Coffee from the Bolaven Plateau has a smooth, sweet flavor with a slight acidity and a rich, complex taste. This is due to the favorable environmental conditions, such as the nutrient-rich volcanic soil and cool climate, which contribute to the coffee’s high quality and unique characteristics.
