HISTORY
First ekranoplans were constructed in our city by the famous Russian designer and inventor, Rostislav Alexeyev, in 60s in the 20th century.
There were several generations of ekranoplans developed in his design department, subsequently they were constructed and successfully operated.
At that time the technology was intended for military purposes and was secret. In the end of his life and career Alexeyev tried to create an ekranoplan for passenger transportation but he did not manage to realize the idea.
Based on a rich scientific and technical groundwork, preserved in Nizhnyi Novgorod, we now strive to transform ekranoplans for commercial use in modern transportation industry.

RDC Aqualines project work unites different avation and shipbuilding experts.
In addition to the company’s full-time employees, within the framework of this project we cooperate with a wide network of contractors and partners from scientific institutions and design offices, aviation building enterprises, with the experts from experimental aviation and professional test pilots.
The network approach to team building allows us to promptly involve the best competencies in different fields.
